Lost Wax helped define the new business process and then implemented the system to support this process. It takes the users in the call-centre through the process of capturing information about the customer, goods and terms required. The system links to Experian for credit checking and can recommend whether the deal is rejected, accepted or referred to an underwriter for a decision. If the deal is agreed then the system prints the documentation for sending to the customer. The system reminds customer services when customers need to be chased for outstanding information.
Although most orders are expected to be taken by phone, the system also provides a web interface so users can place orders on-line.
