Lost Wax collaborates in BROADEN

BROADEN (Business Resource Optimisation for Aftermarket and Design on Engineering Networks) is a multi-site, DTI funded project which aims to build a Rolls Royce Grid as a proving ground for utilising Web/Grid services technology to fully exploit available IT resources.

BROADEN aims to provide a platform for large scale agent-based modelling of aftermarket processes incorporating logistics and the supply chain. Other large scale monitoring and optimisation applications will also utilise the platform and associated commercial-grade tools.

BROADEN is a major collaboration involving the Rolls Royce, Data Systems and Solutions (DS&S), Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Lost Wax, Streamline Computing, Oxford BioSignals, Cybula and the Universities of Oxford, Leeds, York and Sheffield.
