NPS go live on 20,000 user site with Lost Wax built print audit software

Lost Wax developed print and photocopy auditing software for NPS. NPS have deployed the technology at numerous client sites across Europe. The latest deployment at Wigan & Leigh college, audits the printing and photocopying activity of over 20,000 users.

Lost Wax’s application combines Microsoft .Net and Java software to enable printing and photocopying activity across a network to be audited to a central database.

Sophisticated activity reports, with associated costs can be produced. The system is even able to redirect print jobs to the most cost-effective printer. Other control mechanisms can restrict print and photocopying activity based on user or group accounts. Activity can be charged back to specific clients. Print jobs can be securely queued so that printouts are only released when a PIN number is typed in at the printer.
