Lost Wax to present Geospatial & Temporal Data Manipulation (1-2 Nov)

Lost Wax will be presenting its work on manipulating gridded geospatial and temporal data using relational databases at the e-Science Institute's workshop on scientific database and data management. The workshop will be held in Edinburgh on the 1st and 2nd of November 2005.

Lost Wax is involved in the Delivering Environmental Web Services (DEWS) project. The DEWS project involves a consortium of commercial and academic organisations and is part funded by the DTI. It applies recent research in inter enterprise computing technologies to the provision of environmental information in the Health and Marine sectors.

As part of the project, Lost Wax has developed technology to manipulate gridded geospatial and temporal data in the context of relational databases. Neil Stamps from Lost Wax will be presenting this work at the UK's e-Science Institute in Edinburgh. For more information on the workshop, please click here.
