E-commerce Platform

Lost Wax has developed the E-commerce Platform targeted at online trading and auction systems, e-markets and private trading exchanges. The platform can be accessed as an online service on an ASP basis, or modules can be purchased under a licence arrangement.

The platform supports e-commerce activity across a wide range of markets and industries. Software agents lie at the heart of the platform, automating the business processes that match buyer and sellers. This provides sufficiently flexible software to mirror, improve and even transform real-world business practices.

The platform consists of a series of modules supporting different business processes, such as auctions, tenders and negotiations. The modular approach allows the flexibility to implement the most appropriate solution and add additional modules as required. The platform can be delivered as a buy-side, sell-side, broker or marketplace solution. We have successfully implemented the platform for a number of clients.

E-commerce platform technologies
The E-commerce platform is based on the J2EE architecture and incorporates multi-agent technology. It includes the Lost Wax agent framework, which provides an environment for agents to work to achieve objectives. This produces flexible solutions that are designed to adapt at run-time to changing situations. The underlying software platform includes:
