E-markets & Online Trading Systems |
Lost Wax launched the E-Commerce platform ASP service in 2000 and played a significant role in the emerging e-market and private trading exchange sector.
The early business models are now evolving into a number of strategies to bring together buyers and sellers. Integrating corporate procurement processes into dynamic supply chains offers the opportunity to achieve real business advantage.
We have considerable business and software design experience in putting together the core building blocks of online trading systems. Our E-Commerce Platform includes the following modules:
- Procurement
- Auctions
- Sourcing
- Catalogues
- Online negotiations and dynamic pricing
Lost Wax has worked with a number of leading companies operating trading systems in a variety of sectors. The following examples illustrate our range of experiences:
- Global dry cargo information exchange - for the last three years we have operated an information exchange supporting brokers in the global dry cargo market.
- SME exchange- we developed a scale e-market delivering a comprehensive
range of products and services targeted a small-to-medium size companies.
A key challenge for the project was integrating a 60,000-item catalogue. - Food products distribution - we have implemented trading systems for two highly successful international companies in the food produce distribution market.
- Car disposal - we have implemented an auction system targeted at dealers in the car market.
- Online travel - we have implemented auction functionality for an online travel company.
